We went to Omaha, NE on vacation this year. Our first stop was the zoo. It wasn't too hot the day we went so the kids had fun.
After looking at a lot of things that morning we decided to go to the IMAX theatre after lunch to sit in the AC and relax a little bit. Trey was really digging the 3D glasses for theUnder the Sea show.
After the IMAX show we rode the Skyfari. Trey was a little nervous about it at first so I told him to just wave and say "Hi!" to everybody. So he started doing that and then he said, "Hey Mommy, did you see that lady? She looked really familiar to me." It just cracked me up that he knew the word familiar.
Trey driving the bumper cars.We went to the Children's Museum, but forgot to take our camera so no pictures of that!
We were supposed to go to this really cool waterpark on 4th of July, but it was raining and cold so we went to this indoor waterpark. Just as much fun and we didn't have to worry about sunburns! Trista in her swimsuit. The top usually comes down over her belly. Notice how much darker her arms and legs are than her tummy. She love posing for pictures. Can you tell?
Trey loves wearing his googles so he can see under water. I think he looks like a little scuba diver! I had to bribe him to get his picture. He was going through this "I hate having my picture taken stage" the whole time we were on vacation. I was not liking it.

Isn't she sweet! She is watching me type this saying, "My Daddy is holding me. I love him!" As she says it she gives herself a hug. Such a Daddy's girl! I am okay when he is not around. She keeps crying every morning when he goes to work and she wants to go with him. He told her one day that it would be boring and she said, "But Daddy, I could pack some toys." Oh the drama of Trista.
